A soon to be LUMS graduate. I will be graduating in May 2017. I am a seeker of employment opportunities in fund management, investments, corporate finance and portfolio management.
I am an eager and hardworking individual who believes in working efficiently. I have this innate drive to be successful at whatever I do. Having completed my CIE’s (O and A Levels) with straight A’s, I joined the best University (Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)) in my country and within it, I joined the best business school (Suleman Dawood School of Business) of the country to pursue an undergraduate degree in Finance.
During my University days, I tried to maintain a balance between my academics and extra-curricular activities. I currently have a CGPA of 3.45 and have been placed on the Dean’s Honors List for the academic year of 2015/16, along with this, I believe in taking challenging courses that are out of my comfort zone to expand my horizons.
As far as my extra-curricular activities go, I currently serve as the Vice-President of Finance of the most promising startup of Pakistan at the moment, ChaiChalk (which is incubated at LUMS). Previously, I have served as Director Marketing for one of the most prestigious societies at LUMS, the LUMS Media Arts Society (LMA) which organizes two of the largest events at LUMS, FiLUMS (LUMS International Film Festival) and LUMS Olympiad. I feel that the leadership positions that I have held in various societies at LUMS coupled with my academic achievements have made me a more complete person.
I have successfully completed internships in banking, risk management, consulting and finance from reputed organizations over the past 4 years.
I have also passed the Level 1 of CFA on my first attempt.
I am an avid swimmer, cricketer, movie enthusiast and a Chelsea FC fan. I am extremely interested in reading about investment, marketing, motivation and habits of successful people
